Are you considering chiropractic care in Calgary? Bankers Hall Chiropractic offers pain relief from back pain, neck pain, jaw pain, migraines, wrist pain, and more. Our office employs the services of three skilled Chiropractors: Dr. John Collins, Dr. Elaine Byrtus and Dr. Donald Menzies, and they are all dedicated to reducing your pain and helping you get back to leading a normal, active life.
Millions of individuals experience acute and chronic back pain and neck pain that impacts their daily lives. We often find that patients have lived with serious discomfort or pain for years, treating it at home to no avail. The pain can be caused by ruptured or bulging disks, a sports or repetitive motion injury, a car accident injury, whiplash, sciatica, fibromyalgia, vertigo, plantar fasciitis, carpal tunnel, tendinitis, knee pain, back pain, arthritis, or even your work place setup (ergonomics). Regardless of the reason for your pain, our chiropractors can help you heal your injuries and reduce your level of pain.
For every patient, we do an initial assessment that involves a medical history and physical examination. In some instances, we may also take x-rays of the injured areas to better diagnose the problem and create a course of treatment.
When most people walk into our clinic, they are hoping for immediate pain relief for their back pain and neck pain, which is why pain management is one of the first things our Calgary chiropractor will address. We will ask you when the pain started, where it is located, the degree of your pain, and how you would describe any other symptoms.
Pain that originates in the neck can cause headaches, tingling in the arms and hands and shoulder pain, which means that when we successfully treat the source of the neck pain, the other areas of pain will also disappear.
Options for pain relief include manual and instrument chiropractor adjustments. These adjustments can be performed using the Korean Specific Technique, which involves gentle movements instead of the quick rapid thrusts that are generally associated with chiropractic care; the FSS technique, which is more traditional; an activator, which is a medical instrument designed to realign the joints in the body with specific pressure at specific points; and cold laser therapy.
All of these chiropractic therapies are designed with one goal in mind: to realign the body and reduce aches, pains, and stress on the bones, muscles, and ligaments. We also strive to promote the complete healing of injuries.
If you are looking for a chiropractor that specializes in pain relief through non-invasive techniques, contact our Calgary chiropractic office, which is centrally located in downtown Calgary on the ground-level of Bankers Hall. Our office can be reached by phone at (403) 243-0111. We would be happy to schedule an appointment for an initial consultation, and examination, and answer any questions.
